HIPAA

Aldea offers HIPAA compliance with a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for organizations that handle protected health information (PHI). Contact us to set up a BAA for your account.

Data handling

• No audio storage. Audio data is processed in real time and not persisted after transcription completes.
• Encrypted in transit. All API communication uses TLS encryption (HTTPS / WSS).

Self-hosting

For organizations with strict data sovereignty requirements, Aldea offers self-hosted deployment options. Run the transcription engine in your own infrastructure to keep all audio and transcript data within your controlled environment.
